Description

First, just let me state for the record that I love WindowBlinds and I can't imagine running my computer without it. That said, I have to ask myself, Why should I upgrade to v7? I currently own just WindowBlinds 6 by itself, not the suite which comes with everything. So for me, and I'm sure other users, should I choose to upgrade, I would have to pay to do so. What I'm wondering is, What makes WB7 worth upgrading to? What sets it apart from WB6? How is it any different? What new/better features (if any) does it have... et cetera.

So, what makes the paid upgrade to WB7 worth it?

The biggest difference between WB6 and WB7 right now is that 7 supports Windows 7.

You might find as I did it does not play well if using Fences and CursorFX Plus in a 64 bit system

Someone from Stardock will probably drop by at some point to give some more details, but here's what I know.  In addition to Windows 7 support, WindowBlinds 7 will be the single biggest upgrade ever released for that program.  I know that all of the Object Desktop 2010 programs will be redesigned from multiple angles, and I believe there are going to be new features that integrate with the Impulse client.

You'll have to wait for the final release (or at least Beta 2) to be sure, but I got the distinct impression that WB7 will definitely be a worthwhile upgrade for XP and Vista users as well as Windows 7 users.

If you're right, that does sound promising.

Just the fact that it has Windows 7 support will make me want it for sure.

Windows without WindowBlinds is like a garden without any plants...bare!

And since I am a big pusher for Windows 7, I want the eye candy to go with it so will be glad to see the new version that runs with it.

Come on 7's

Sometimes, you have to manually put the quote brackets in.

open bracket quote close bracket teh munkeh is teh greatest open bracket forward slash quote close bracket
