I just ran a virus scan using the latest version of Avast and it's telling me that wbsrv.dll is a virus.
From the warning message's window:
"A suspicious file has been detected (using a heuristic method). This may be a sign of malware infection. Please allow the file to be submitted to our virus lab for analysis.
Filename: C:\PROGRA~1\Stardock\OBJECT~1\WINDOW~1\wbsrv.dll
Type: Rootkit: hidden process"
I'm just wondering, is this a false-positive? I've been using WB for years now and I've used Avast several times in the past without any warnings with WB. This is the first time it's happened. The only options it gives is to "delete now" or "ignore."
Your thoughts?
